No. Many of our Cebu students speak Cebuano at home and English only at school. Teachers expect that, start where the child actually is, and build spoken confidence from there rather than assuming prior fluency.

For older teenagers, yes. Teachers can focus on clear pronunciation, telephone and customer-facing conversation, and confident everyday speech, which are the skills those industries actually test for.
