What to include so we can help on the first reply
Most back-and-forth comes from a missing detail. If you can, send:
- the email address or phone number your family account uses;
- your child's first name as it appears in the dashboard;
- the date and time of the lesson concerned, and your city or time zone;
- for payment questions, the amount and the date it left your account.
Booking, rescheduling and cancelling
You do not need to message anybody to book or move a class — parents can do both from the dashboard, and the teacher is told automatically. Cancel more than 12 hours before the lesson starts and the credit returns to your balance in full. Inside 12 hours the credit is used, because the teacher has held that time for your child. If something urgent happens, write to us anyway and we will look at it.
Questions we are asked most
Is the first class really free?
Yes, and no card details are asked for. It is a full lesson with a real teacher, after which you decide whether to carry on.
What does a lesson cost?
US$7 for a 25-minute lesson on every plan, and US$14 for a 50-minute lesson. There is no joining fee and no charge for books.
Which books do you teach from?
Published course books — Cambridge Power Up and Global English, Oxford Phonics World, Family and Friends and THiNK — chosen to match your child's level. We are an independent tutoring service: we are not a Cambridge exam centre and have no affiliation with Oxford University Press.
Do we need to install anything?
No. Lessons open in the browser from a link. Families in mainland China can ask for a VooV / Tencent Meeting link instead if cross-border video is unstable.
Which ages do you teach?
Children and teenagers from 4 to 16, in English.

TutorPro Online English is operated as a registered sole proprietorship based in the Philippines, delivering online English lessons to families worldwide. Teaching base: Manila time (UTC+8), which is the same clock as Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and most of China — so after-school lessons need no compromise.
